Radio telemetry & SCADA control for remote applications
UK Manufacturing plant. We have recently completed the supply and installation of a telemetry and SCADA system at a UK manufacturing site. The system monitors an effluent plant comprising a surface water tank, surface water lagoon and emergency lagoon. Measurements are made of dissolved oxygen levels, flow rates, pH, turbidity, pump states and aerator performance. These measurements need to be displayed locally and viewed by a number of managers distributed around the site.

Using radio telemetry data is transmitted to both a local Prodigy SCADA system and a second system ¾ mile away.Using Remote Workstation over the customer's worldwide network, this data is also made available to 6 remote engineers, the Health and Safety department and to the local security officers in the gatehouse. All users have access to a set of mimic displays to allow them to visually see the levels in the tanks and lagoons, and the states of the various pumps, aerators, etc. The signal data is also recorded to the hard disk and made available on a set of trend displays, so that changes over any period of time could easily be viewed. Both Radio and Scada System have been configured to accept significant expansion as further outstations will be added at later dates.

Blenheim Palace operates its own water treatment plant serving the palace and various farms and estate cottages. The water is pumped from a lake through the water treatment plant before distribution around the large Oxfordshire Country estate.
There is a requirement to maintain this water supply even at one of the remote locations. As a solution Access Instrumentation have installed a Radio Telemetry and Instrument System. The level in two storage tanks is being monitored using an Ultrasonic Level Transducer. This level data is transmitted via a solar powered radio transmitter to the pump house. A pump control panel automatically starts and stops the twin pumps in order to maintain the required volume of treated water at the storage tanks.
In 2017 we began working on the supply of 10 inch gas turbine flowmeters wth straighteners and plenum unit for the Jawa-2 project located in the port city Tanjung Priok approximately 10 km northeast of central Jakarta, Indonesia. The full turnkey contract was awarded to Mitsubishi Corporation and local construction and engineering firm Wasa Mitra Engineering. MHPS provided two M701F gas turbines, two exhaust heat recovery boilers, one steam turbine, and auxiliary equipment. The generators were manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.
The Turbine flow meter, straightener & plenum were supplied fully assembled with gaskets and weld neck flanges
Bespoke transit sea/air worthy packing boxes were produced by local specialist supplier
A special gas calibration was requested on high pressure natural gas under 50 Bar of pressure.
This was performed by Pigsar, a leading calibration facility in europe and are an ISO/ IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.

The Gas turbine flow meter assemblies  were put in to operational service during Q2 2018
National upgrade of insertion flow meters
We are currently undertaking a nationwide refurbishment of Quadrina insertion gas Flow Meters
The Model A-5200 turbine flow meter is an extremely robust instrument which is intended for measurement of liquids and gases over a wide range of pipe sizes from 4” (100mm) to 60” (1500mm) in diameter.  The Model A-5200 is generally installed on a full-port ball-valve using a 3” ANSI flange. The screw jack arrangement allows the head to be installed in to pipe and extracted under high pressure operating conditions.
The Model A-5400 turbine flow meter is an extremely robust instrument which is intended for measurement of liquids and gases over a wide range of pipe sizes from 4” (100mm) to 10ft (3000mm) in diameter.  The Model A-5400 is generally installed on a full-port ball-valve using a 3” 150 lb ANSI flange. The design is a push in type and is designed for low pressure applications.
Various mounting methods for the totaliser are available to suit application.
Turnkey designs for application requirement
As we are an independent company we can supply the complete package for your application, sourcing products and requirements that are not in our portfolio
We recently supplied ExxonMobil an SG901 analyser, the specification required the unit to be supplied with a application specific barrier enclosure and mounted on a bespoke frame.

With our freedom to supply parts required for customer specific application we were able to source and supply the required  bespoke frame assembly
