The Siemens SITRANS LR200 is a 2-wire, 6 GHz pulse radar level transmitter for continuous monitoring of liquids and slurries. It is designed to be operated in storage and process vessels at high temperatures and pressures, to a range of 20m.
a features an internal, integrated shield that eliminates vessel nozzle interference
The SITRANS LR250 is a 2-wire, 25 GHz pulse radar level transmitter for continuous monitoring, it is your first choice for liquid level measurement in storage tanks and process vessels to 20 metres (60 ft). The LR250 is low cost, easy to install and simple to configure.
• Water and waste water
• Chemical and pharmaceutical industries
• Food and beverage industry
SITRANS LR560 2-wire, 78 GHz FMCW radar level transmitter for continuous monitoring of solids in silos to a range of 100 m (328 ft).
SITRANS LR560’s plug and play performance is ideal for most solids applications, including those with extreme dust and high temperatures to +200 ºC (+392 ºF). Unique design allows safe and simple programming using the Intrinsically Safe handheld programmer without having to open the instrument’s lid.
The SITRANS LG series are guided wave radar transmitters for level, level/interface, and volume measurement of liquids and solids. It is unaffected by changes in process conditions, high temperatures and pressures, and steam.
The SITRANS LG series comes in four different models,
depending on the applications, level of performance, and functionality required:
-
SITRANS LG240 offers configuration options for your hygienic application requirements
-
SITRANS LG250 Highly flexible solution for liquid level and interface applications. Extremely versatile offering solutions for storage, separation of materials or difficult ammonia applications
-
SITRANS LG260 Ideal for measuring level in medium range solids applications including; grains, plastics, and cement
-
SITRANS LG270 offers configuration options for extreme conditions including high temperature and high pressure applications such as: harsh applications found in chemical, HPI and energy industries for example, LPG gas tanks, steam boilers and distillation columns
The IMP from Pulsar is non-contacting ultrasonic level measurement without compromise. The all-in-one self-contained units have the benefit of digital echo processing specially designed for IMP. IMP can be programmed via the integral keypad or using IMP PC, IMP’s specially designed software.
IMP is available in 3m, 6m and 10m versions, and each unit is configurable either as a 2 or 3 wire device.
IMP is also available as an Intrinsically Safe (I.S.) unit, with a distinctive black cap instead of green, meeting ATEX EEx ia IIC T4 and IECEx.
Pulsar’s innovative dB range of transducers has taken ultrasonic level measurement into a new era. Unlike the high voltage, frequency dependent transducers of other manufacturers, which require special, protected interconnect cables, or low powered transducers built with intrinsic safety rather than performance in mind, the dB series combines low electrical power that meets intrinsic safety requirements with extraordinary high sonic power to give range and performance. Short blanking distances and narrow beam angles improve performance, especially when the signals are being analysed by Pulsar’s DATEM software
Deceptively simple, the Pulsar blackbox range includes all the echo processing sophistication of the Pulsar Ultra range, but in basic form without the display and on-board programming capabilities that are unnecessary in a distributed control environment. The blackbox units can be teamed with any of the dB transducers, making a 125mm to 40m measurement ranges available
The Pulsar Ultra 3
The Pulsar Ultra 5
The Pulsar Ultra 3 and 5 represents the leading edge of ultrasonic level measurement and control. Sophisticated, full function controllers with either 3 (Ultra 3) or 5 (Ultra 5) control/alarm relays. With wall, fascia, panel or rack mount, Ultra 3 and 5 units provide large displays with intuitive and straightforward menu programming. An Ultra system consists of a control unit and a transducer, which may be positioned up to 500 metres away. Both Ultra 3 and Ultra 5 have the option of bus type digital communications and data logging, coupled with the dB series of transducers measurement ranges from as little as 75mm right through to 40metres on solids or liquids are available.
